Okai Airlines Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Okai Airlines") was established in Beijing in March 2005, and is the first private airline in China to be put into operation.
The first flight of Okai Airlines in March 2005 was hailed as the "first branch of the early spring" of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council's "Several Opinions on Encouraging and Guiding the Development of Private and Private Non-public Economy".
As of July 2023, Okai Airlines has a fleet of 22 young aircraft dominated by the Boeing 737NG series, with an average fleet age of seven years. Okai Airlines has established operational bases in Tianjin, Changsha, Xi'an, Nanning and other four cities, operating more than 100 domestic and foreign routes. Over the past 18 years, Okai Airlines has operated 902,700 hours safely, transported more than 50 million passengers and transported more than 330,000 tons of cargo.
